The duration depends on factors like your training schedule, weather, and the availability of aircraft. On average, it takes 9–18 months to complete the training and flight hours required for a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), from ground zero.

Yes! A CPL allows you to work as a professional pilot and get paid for flying, including carrying passengers and cargo. Additional ratings, like an Instrument Rating or Multi-Engine Rating, may increase your job prospects, but remember that a PPL holder can't get paid to fly.
